HGV Class 1 LTD DriverIs your CV ready If so, and you are confident this is the role for you, make sure to apply asap.Oakham LE1518.50 - 23 per hourWe are currently recruiting for HGV1 drivers in Oakham to work with specialist vehicles and trailers at exhibitions, roadshows & other promotional events.The runs are daily/weekly/overnight stays or as per the needs of the business.The driver should be flexible in any given week working on an any 5 days in 7 basis and will be required to work weekends when bookings dictate (often).Full training provided.MAIN TASKSDrive, deliver & collect specialist trailers and vehicles to client locationsFully assemble or assist in their assemblySetup/Install and testing of systemsHost the delivery of client activity if required by the clientOversee keys systems during live event days, (e.g. ensure generator fuel full throughout etc.)Dismantling, pack and return equipment securelyBe flexible within legal working hoursComplete any daily and weekly documents requiredBe able to drive all kinds of vehicles (HGV1, HGV2, Vans)MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESTo drive and work in a safe manner observing all speed limits, road restrictions and on-site safety regulationsEnsure full adherence to strict Health and Safety procedures on client & customer sites/venues.Dress smartlyAlways wear PPE - safety boots, high viz tabards, and bump caps when opening and closing trailers/vehicles.PERSON SPECIFICATIONRequires confidence to liaise directly with customers.Willingness and ability to exceed customer expectations.Communicate effectively with clients.Be reliable and punctual. xjdpvnf Be organised & well presented.PAY RATES (LTD)Monday to Friday - 18.50 p/hSaturday - 21.00 p/hSunday - 23 p/hIf you are interested APPLY NOW!
