Nocturnal Recruitment is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a locality-based Health and Adult Social Services (HASS) multidisciplinary team. The role offers structured supervision, flexible working, and clear professional development pathways.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct complex occupational therapy assessments, delivering holistic and person-centred evaluations for individuals with diverse health needs and their carersAssess, design, and recommend major adaptations and complex equipment, including interpreting plans, preparing sketches, and producing detailed specificationsComplete comprehensive manual handling assessments and provide clear, practical guidance for safe mobility, transfers, and positioningRecommend and review both standard and specialist equipment, ensuring safe use in line with legislation and policyManage and prioritise a complex caseload, progressing cases efficiently through the serviceDevelop and review support plans collaboratively with service users, within social care and housing legislation frameworksWork closely within a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care deliveryMaintain accurate, compliant records in line with HCPC standards and organisational policiesEssential RequirementsDegree or diploma in Occupational Therapy with current HCPC registrationStrong experience in major adaptations and complex equipment provisionIn-depth knowledge of manual handling and specialist equipment assessmentsProven ability to carry out complex, person-centred assessments and support planningSound understanding of social care legislation and housing frameworksDemonstrated ability to manage and prioritise complex caseloads independentlyExperience working within multidisciplinary teamsStrong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skillsDesirable:Experience working within an Occupational Therapy duty serviceWhat We OfferCompetitive salaryPaid training and ongoing professional developmentSupportive and inclusive working environmentClear career progression opportunitiesStaff wellbeing and rewards programmesSafeguardingNocturnal Recruitment is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults.
