MMA Welder Location: Walsall Salary: 17.50 per hour Hours: MondayThursday 7:54am4:30pm, Early Finish Friday 1:30pm Overtime: Paid at premium rates Contract Type: Full-Time, Temp - perm About the Role We are seeking skilled MMA Welders to join our growing team within the Defence sector , supporting the manufacture of high-integrity nuclear components . This is an excellent opportunity to work on technically challenging, safety-critical products while developing your career in a secure and expanding industry. Key Responsibilities Perform high-quality MMA welding on 510mm gauge materials Work with carbon steel and stainless steel Produce welds to stringent inspection standards, including X-ray testing Read and work from technical drawings Ensure all work meets Defence and Nuclear industry quality requirements Maintain a safe, clean and compliant working environment What Were Looking For Proven experience as an MMA Welder Competence welding 510mm gauge carbon and stainless steel Ability to work to tight tolerances and high standards Experience within Defence, Nuclear or other regulated industries (advantageous but not essential) Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality What We Offer 17.50 per hour Premium overtime rates Early Friday finish at 1:30pm Long-term career progression opportunities Chance to work on advanced products for the UK Defence sector Thank you for your application.
