Global Commercial Strategy DirectorLocation: Home basedSalary: Circa £100,000-£110,000 + packageLime Talent is partnering with a high-growth global FMCG scale-up to hire a Global Commercial Strategy Director. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for shaping the commercial strategy behind new product launches and driving international category growth.Working closely with senior leadership, you'll help define how innovation is brought to market globally — translating consumer and category insight into clear commercial strategies that unlock distribution, accelerate market entry and deliver sustainable growth.This role sits at the intersection of innovation, commercial strategy and execution, ensuring that new products move from concept through to successful launch and strong in-market performance across multiple regions and channels.The RoleAs Global Commercial Strategy Director, you will lead the commercial strategy behind new product launches and category expansion, ensuring innovation is successfully introduced and scaled across international markets.You will work cross-functionally across the organisation to align teams around a clear commercial roadmap, ensuring strong market entry and disciplined execution.Key responsibilities include:Developing the global go-to-market strategy for new product launches and category expansionTranslating consumer, category and customer insights into commercially viable strategies that drive distribution and growthShaping the product and commercial roadmap, supporting innovation from early concept through to launch and ongoing optimisationLeading collaboration across sales, marketing, supply chain, product development and finance teams to ensure operational and commercial readinessDesigning effective route-to-market strategies across retail, distribution and partner networks in international marketsCreating strong customer propositions and commercial narratives to support successful retail launchesEnsuring launches are delivered with pace and precision, aligning marketing activation, sales plans and supply chain readinessMonitoring key commercial metrics including distribution, sales performance and profitability, using insight to continuously improve performanceActing as a senior commercial voice within the business, contributing to long-term category and growth strategyThe CandidateThis role would suit a commercially driven consumer goods specialist who thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments and has experience bringing innovation to market.You will bring:Previous experience within FMCG in commercial strategy, product commercialisation, category development or go-to-market rolesA track record of successfully launching and scaling products across retail channelsStrong experience collaborating across sales, marketing, operations and product development teamsThe ability to translate consumer insight and commercial data into clear strategic directionExperience operating in international markets or working with global commercial modelsExcellent stakeholder management and the ability to influence senior leadershipExperience working in a scale-up environment, helping launch and scale new product innovationExposure to non-food consumer categories such as homecare, personal care or similar FMCG sectorsWhy This Role?Opportunities like this are rare.
