Youll play a key role in ensuring residents enjoy an exceptional living experience through highquality maintenance, prompt issue resolution, and a commitment to outstanding service. The role is based in Salford, Manchester.About the RoleWorking closely with the Service Manager and wider community team, you will be responsible for the daytoday upkeep of a modern residential development. Your work will directly support resident satisfaction and the overall safety, presentation, and smooth running of the community.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and complete reactive maintenance tasks, diagnosing and resolving resident issues efficientlyCarry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and maintain accurate recordsLiaise with external contractors to coordinate repairsSupport relet preparations including painting, regrouting and general maintenanceMaintain communal areas, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and high presentation standardsFollow all safety protocols, including fire safety proceduresConduct daily building walks and maintain shared spaces such as corridors, lifts, car parks, lounges, and courtyardsCollaborate with the Service Manager and team on all maintenance and presentation requirementsWhat Were Looking ForExperience in practical maintenance xjdpvnf tasks such as carpentry, joinery, painting and decoratingBasic plumbing and electrical skillsA confident communicator who builds strong relationshipsReliable, flexible, and committed to going the extra mileStrong problemsolving skills and ability to manage workload independentlyProfessional and positive interaction with residents, suppliers, and team membersTechsavvy and comfortable using digital communication toolsH&S knowledge or IOSH certification is preferred (training can be provided)
