The role will be carrying out surveys, assessments including EWS1 / remedial cladding & faades and condition surveys for both residential and commercial buildings across London and The South East. The role offers a salary of up to 70,000 (dependent on experience) + Bonus + 45p mileage + hybrid working + healthcare + continuous CPD / professional development.They offer strategic advice, innovative design, construction oversight and risk management services to wide-ranging clients in the UK worldwide. The position can be based from their London, Manchester, Kent, Leeds, Glasgow, or Belfast office.Role & ResponsibilitiesReporting to the regional Associate Surveyor, Associate Fire Engineer, Associate Director or DirectorMentor Fire Surveyors and Junior SurveyorsProvide sound technical advice to clients in relation to products, systems and how they fit in to theoverall fire safety objective, including EWS1 surveysUpdating the knowledge baseProject resource managementReviewing site reportsClient managementLiaise with the project manager/project engineer to deliver surveys in line with contractual requirementsConsider commercial risk management and to Health, Safety and Wellbeing of associated team membersKeep up to date with latest guidance, product literature and share that knowledge with the team and wider company.Required Skills & Experience10+ Years in construction with 2+ years working as a SurveyorOr 7+ Years as a Building Control SurveyorExperienced in fire stopping / dry liningMust be MRICS, MCABE, MIFIREE, MCIOB or working towardsEnhanced understanding of fire safety design and guidance for different buildingsA good knowledge of regulatory process is essentialAbility to mentor / manage more junior members of staffUnderstanding of building pathology, building concepts, construction typology and building materialsExperience with cladding & Facades / EWS1UK Driving Licence and own vehicle.What you get backSalary of 40,000 - 70,000Mileage paid 45p per mileBonus SchemeHybrid WorkingPension SchemePrivate HealthcareLife CoverContinuous CPD / Professional developmentElectric Car Benefit.ApplyIf you meet the criteria above, send us your CV and portfolio.
