You can embrace your curiosity in a culture that celebrates new ideas and diverse perspectives.A little more about your role…Supporting project teams to solve complex integration problems for our clients on major infrastructure programmesLeading tasks within a project environment, leading other resources on larger projects, or having sole accountability for small projectsAs a professional in systems engineering and integration, you will demonstrate a willingness and openness to challenge and learn from our clients and your colleagues, with a commitment to mentoring Early Career ProfessionalsWorking in challenging and exciting projects environments, where you will need to help define those projects, adding value and reducing risk for our clients by applying pragmatic systems thinking and collaborative behaviours as part of a team on big systems engineering projectsSupporting interval team development activities focused on business and / or technical developmentGaining commercial responsibility of your project and awareness of the wider business while working in a consultancy environmentProactively seeking knowledge and learning opportunities from within our team or via external sources to develop capability to determine the right approach to a problem, considering the competing needs and constraints on capabilities, availabilities of resource, time and cost constraintsProactively maintaining an up-to-date CPD record whilst developing a professional networkWhat we are looking for you to demonstrate…A degree in a relevant engineering disciplineChartered status with a relevant professional body, or can demonstrate in a position to achieve Chartered status within the near futurePost degree experience in delivering systems integration in a rail environmentExperience in applying various systems engineering tools (e.g. DOORS) and techniques (e.g. MBSE)Experience in identifying and defining the appropriate approach to systems engineering on projectsExperience in identifying and defining the appropriate application of systems engineering tools on projectsIdeally experience in leading others in delivering systems engineering projects and/or tasksA background in client facing roles, and/or experience in stakeholder engagementExperience across different lifecycle stages and/or a clear understanding of the Systems Engineering challenges across different stagesExcellent interpersonal and presentation skillsInnovative ideas for development of systems engineering servicesImagine a better future for you and a better future for us all.
