Consultant Paediatricians (also open to suitably qualified Psychiatrists)DescriptionService Care Solutions are working in partnership with a specialist neurodevelopmental provider to recruit experienced Consultant Paediatricians (also open to suitably qualified Psychiatrists) specialising in Autism and ADHD assessments for children and young people aged 3–18.This role focuses on delivering high-quality, compassionate diagnostic assessments within a structured, MDT-led service. Clinicians can work remotely via MS Teams or attend face-to-face clinics (Canterbury and Basingstoke). Through Service Care Solutions, you’ll join a service committed to clinical excellence, strong governance, and meaningful outcomes for families navigating neurodevelopmental pathways. Job Purpose: Autism/ADHD Assessments – Paediatrician Pay: £300 - £350 per assessment (onsite supplement offered), Outside IR35Bonus: £250 Welcome Bonus, paid via Service Care SolutionsLocation: Remote (In-Person available in Basingstoke or Canterbury)Working Hours: Flexible Hours, Mon – Sun, 9 – 5pmResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive developmental histories and clinical assessments for Autism and ADHDObserve children and young people in an age-appropriate, compassionate mannerReview ADOS reports, developmental history and collateral information from home and schoolFormulate diagnoses in line with DSM-5 criteria and provide clear, supportive feedback to familiesProduce high-quality diagnostic reports within 48 hours (admin support provided)Collaborate with the MDT where further information is requiredRecommend onward referrals in line with NHS Trust/ICB protocolsRequirementsGMC-registered doctor with licence to practiseCCT in Paediatrics preferred (Psychiatrists with relevant experience considered)Strong experience in ASD and/or ADHD assessments for children and young peopleUp to date with appraisal and revalidationConfident working remotely and within structured assessment pathwaysPassion for delivering compassionate, evidence-based careWhy Join Service Care Solutions?£250 Welcome BonusWe are offering a Welcome Bonus of £250, paid after completion of 150 hours (or equivalent) in your new placement.Refer a Friend (Earn up to £750 per Referral)Simply refer your friend.
