We are amongst the largest pork producers in the UK, working in partnership with over 350 independent farmers to produce sustainable pork with high animal welfare standards. Our Agricultural team brings together specialists in veterinary care, technical support, field operations, and farm compliance all working collaboratively to deliver excellence from farm to fork. We are recruiting for a reliable and well organised Administrative Assistant on a 12 month fixed term contract to support the production teams within our pig supply business. The role involves purchasing supplies, Updating a creating farm contracts, organising and supporting meetings, processing data and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities Procure supplies for both centres, including laboratory materials, PPE, packaging, and cleaning products Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment Draft and prepare contracts Manage new farm, closing farm, and amendment forms Perform weekly data downloads for production results Maintain accurate customer, order, and stock records Send reporting emails Ensure documentation is properly filed and compliant with company procedures About You You will be Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks in a busy operational environment. You must be reliable and responsible and comfortable working with operational and technical staff in a fast paced corporate environment. Essential Skills & Experience GCSEs or equivalent; further education in Administration, Business or Logistics is desirable Previous experience in an administrative, purchasing or logistics role Good IT skills, including spreadsheets and order/invoicing systems Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Good communication skills and ability to work with customers and drivers Experience in agriculture, livestock or veterinary-related businesses would be desirable but not essential What We Offer At Pilgrim''s Europe, we believe our people are the key to our success.
