HGV Class 2 Steel Driver - Telford People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Steel Driver to join our well-established client based in Telford, Shropshire . This position would be ideal for an applicant looking for a role as a LGV Class 2 Driver, Truck Driver or Category C Driver. Shifts: Monday to Friday Start times: 0500-0700am Rates of Pay: 14.00 per hour Benefits: Your benefits as a HGV Class 2 Steel Driver will be: Excellent hourly rates Weekly pay Immediate starts Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties: Your duties as a HGV Class 2 Steel Driver are: Operating and driving Category C vehicles safely and efficiently Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensuring all loads are loaded and secured correctly Adhering to traffic laws and regulations Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management Assisting with loading and unloading of cargo as required Essential Skills: The skills required as a HGV Class 2 Steel Driver are: Valid UK Category C Driving Licence Minimum of twelve month's experience driving Category C vehicles Valid UK Driver CPC card and Digital Tachograph card No more than six penalty points for minor offences and no major endorsement codes Good level of spoken and written English Punctual with excellent time-keeping Good understanding of traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills Previous experience working in the steel industry Desirable Experience: Previous experience driving commercial vehicles Previous multi-drop delivery experience Training: Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout Contact: If you are ready to take on this opportunity as a HGV Class 2 Steel Driver, please apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch.
