Quality InspectorIf you are interested in applying for this job, please make sure you meet the following requirements as listed below.As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting measurement activities to ensure compliance with technical drawings, including first-off, in-process, and final inspections. You will utilise a range of metrology equipment, from handheld mechanical measuring tools to CNC CMMs.The primary objective of this role is to verify that CNC machined components meet the required specifications and stage instructions.Quality Inspector Key ResponsibilitiesPerform first-off and in-process inspections in line with customer and company requirements to ensure conformity to technical specifications.Conduct final inspections, record and report FAI results, and verify compliance with technical drawings.Carry out goods-inward inspections of sub-contract-supplied products and services.Create and maintain programmes for CNC and manual CMMs.Complete NCRs using the production database system.Support root cause analysis using quality tools such as 5 Whys and 8D methodology.Recommend improvements and corrective actions based on root cause analysis findings.Communicate updates on non-conforming components with the Quality and Production Managers.Work efficiently to meet despatch targets.Ensure all measuring equipment is maintained and calibrated in accordance with company and manufacturer guidelines.Maintain accurate records of all calibration activities.Identify and implement process improvements.Conduct internal quality audits in accordance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements.Complete and maintain material traceability documentation.Participate in VA/VE projects to support business objectives.Maintain a clean and organised work area free of debris.Quality Inspector Education and Experience:A-levels (or equivalent) in Mathematics and ScienceLevel 1 Engineering qualificationOrA minimum of 2 years experience in a Quality Control roleQuality Inspector Skills and Competencies:Strong mechanical aptitudeAbility to interpret and analyse technical drawingsUnderstanding of GD & THigh attention to detail with a focus on accuracyEffective teamwork while managing individual tasksAbility to multitask and meet deadlinesStrong organisational and workload prioritisation skillsQuality Inspector BenefitsSalary 27500 30000Working Hours: 40 hours per week Mon to Fri Inc unpaid break)Life assurance from start dateFree Onsite ParkingEmployee Engagement eventsAfter Probation periodSalary sacrifice pension schemeHealth Cash PlanPLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT A SPONSORED JOB - CANDIDATES ON PSW OR SPONSORSHIP REQUIREMENTS WILL NOT BE CONSIDEREDUnfortunately, due to time restrictions we cannot respond to every applicant, in the event that we havent contacted you within 48 hours please take it you have not been successful for this particular role, but your details will be kept on file and considered for all future vacancies.We are an equal opportunities agency and welcome applicants from all backgrounds. xjdpvnf We are acting on behalf of the client as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
