Field Service Engineer - Critical PowerI'm looking for a skilled and motivated Service Engineer to join a growing team at the forefront of the critical power industry. The area is Hampshire, Berkshire, Surrey and West Sussex:Servicing, maintaining, and repairing generators, UPS systems, batteries, switchgear, and control systemsDiagnosing faults and carrying out testing and inspectionsInstalling and commissioning critical power equipmentResponding to breakdowns and delivering fast, effective solutionsConducting load bank testing, site surveys, and system investigationsSupporting and mentoring junior engineers and apprenticesProducing accurate service reports and documentationIdentifying additional service or sales opportunitiesYou:Strong electrical/mechanical engineering backgroundExperience with generators, UPS systems, or critical power equipment (preferred)Ability to work independently and manage on-site activitiesExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsWillingness to travel, work on-call, and occasionally stay away overnightCommitment to safety and high-quality workmanshipBenefits:£50k OTEExposure to a wide variety of critical power systemsOngoing training and development opportunitiesA supportive team environment with real career progressionWR Engineering are the #1 recruitment partner for engineering, manufacturing & technical sales jobs.
