Opportunity for the right candidate to join a thriving expanding practice in a leafy suburban village South of Manchester We have 7500 patients served by 10 dedicated GP's with good administrative and Nursing staff support We are looking for a doctor to join us working for between four and eight sessions per week Main duties of the jobThe main role will be to offer good continuous care to our patients and work collectively for the good of each patient we care for About usWe are a patient focused practice seeking to reduce and remove barriers to healthcare where we can We have a "can do" ethos and like to get thinks right first time and when we don't we like to share learning on how to improve for next time We practice Medicine in a traditional way but embrace new technology enthusiastically as it evolves We are a happy enthusiastic team and will welcome you warmly Job responsibilitiesAt present we run two and a half hour surgeries with ten minute appointments There is a commitment to a share of extended access appointments to 8:00 pm one evening per week and Saturdays on average 2 or 3 times per annum We consult mainly face to face but also by telephone email and online We have a good supporting staff who handle prescriptions referral letters QOF call and recall and a nursing prescribing team with HCA to support our clinical work Person SpecificationQualificationsMRCGP DCH DRCOG FP Cert Minor Surgery Accreditation GP Trainer Accreditation Medical Student Teaching ExperiencePrevious experience working as a Partner or as a Salaried Doctor will be an advantage Disclosure and Barring Service CheckThis post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.#J-18808-Ljbffr
