Job Description

Framlingham Medical Practice are looking to recruit a salaried GP to join the team for up to full time (4-8 sessions per week), although there is flexibility for the right person. You would be joining a supportive, experienced team that is committed to working well together, delivering excellent and consistent care. We have a strong ethos of working collaboratively, supporting each other day to day, and maintaining a sustainable approach to workload. We are a training practice, supporting GP trainees and medical students from the University of Cambridge and University of East Anglia. We have a stable practice team with a good mix of experience across GP's, nursing, dispensing and wider roles (administration and reception). Main duties of the role include a mix of routine and acute clinical work, supported by a team based approach to manage demand. We constantly review demand and capacity to ensure workloads are sustainable and safe. This will provide access to a wider range of roles, shared expertise and organisational support, while allowing us to retain our identity as a local practice. We are a SystmOne Practice and use Anima to support patient access and general enquiries. We care for 9,500 patients across our main site in Framlingham and our branch surgery at Earl Soham.
