This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified finance professional with strong experience in financial control, management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, commercial finance, financial reporting, team leadership and process improvement. The successful candidate will lead and manage the finance function and credit control operation for Staffline Recruitment Ireland, ensuring robust financial controls, strong operational performance and strategic financial support across the business. This role is ideal for a commercially focused finance leader who can combine technical accounting expertise with strategic insight, people management and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Financial Leadership and Reporting Lead and manage the finance function and credit control team across Staffline Recruitment Ireland Deliver accurate monthly management accounts within seven working days Produce weekly margin reports and KPI reporting with clear insight and recommendations Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes with data-driven analysis Manage group reporting and intercompany transactions, ensuring consistency and compliance Oversee cash flow, working capital and cost control to improve financial efficiency Strengthen internal controls, financial governance and risk management frameworks Commercial Finance and Strategic Support Provide strategic financial insight to senior leadership across five major divisions Support commercial growth and profitability through pricing analysis, bid support, tender reviews and contract evaluation Influence decision-making with robust financial analysis and commercial recommendations Drive improvements in financial performance across multiple business units Contribute to broader business strategy through accurate forecasting and profitability analysis Systems, Controls and Process Improvement Manage reporting systems and general ledger platforms including Datarails and Topaz Support the rollout of internal reporting tools and real-time KPI dashboards Champion automation and digitisation of finance processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual administration Maintain finance IT systems, ensuring accuracy, integrity and successful integration with third-party systems Review and improve finance processes, controls and policies to enhance compliance and operational effectiveness Deliver training to team members on finance systems and processes where required Leadership and Stakeholder Management Lead and performance manage a team of six direct reports, including monthly one-to-one meetings and annual appraisals Drive operational efficiency while maintaining high service and performance standards Work closely with senior management, payroll and IT teams to support wider business objectives Build strong professional relationships with auditors, banks, regulators and other external stakeholders Present financial information clearly and confidently to senior leadership teams Compliance and Governance Oversee statutory financial compliance, audits and tax obligations including VAT returns and PAYE payments Ensure alignment with internal audit requirements, regulatory standards and company policies Manage procurement-related reviews,
