Lead Pharmacist – GastroenterologyAn exciting senior role within the Pharmacy team, leading clinical pharmacy services for the Gastroenterology department in partnership with other Specialist Lead Pharmacists.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, audit and monitor medicines management processes within the Gastroenterology service.Promote clinical and cost‐effective prescribing through evidence‐based guidelines within the multidisciplinary team.Provide training and supervision to departmental staff.Contribute to the patient care pathway at a senior level, supporting the multidisciplinary team.Drive operational excellence and support continuous improvement of pharmacy services.Lead day‐to‐day delivery of clinical pharmacy services to the Gastroenterology department.QualificationsPost‐graduate diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent.Previous experience working in a clinical pharmacy environment.Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.Evidence of multidisciplinary teamwork is mitment to continuing professional development; a prescribing qualification is required or the intention to pursue it.Working EnvironmentPart of a large Pharmacy Department (over 150 staff) with established senior support.On‐call commitment in line with departmental policy.Training and support provided, with opportunities for professional growth and advancement.Applications close on Monday 27 Apr 2026.#J-18808-Ljbffr
