The post holder is expected to have total DCC of 7.5pa and a 2.5pa for SPA.Post holder will work along with multidisciplinary team covering the older people's population in North-Cumbria.The post holder will provide senior clinical expertise in the assessment and treatment of individuals with complex mental health problems and what are termed as at-risk mental states.The Older Adults Community Treatment team provide assessment and treatment service, experiencing difficulty with their mental health based on episodic model of care. It is an ageless service, seeing patients with cognitive problems of any age. Those with functional psychiatric disorders are accepted into the service if they have age related needs of older people, or significant frailty.Post holder will be expected to work closely with each other as well as local agencies such as the Crisis Team, and Inpatient services to ensure safe and timely transitions when required.Please note we can not sponsor GMC for this role.Please note this vacancy will close once sufficient applications have been received.Main duties of the jobIt is envisaged that the post holder will work ten programmed activities. Following appointment there will be a meeting at no later than three months with the clinical manager to review and revise the job plan and objectives of the post holder. The overall split of the programmed activities is 7.5 activities to be devoted to direct clinical care and 2.5pa to supporting professional activities (as per the Royal College of Psychiatrists recommendation). The timetable is indicative only.
