Lead Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Installation EngineerSkills, Experience, Qualifications, If you have the right match for this opportunity, then make sure to apply today.Stockport / Northwest (Field-Based)45,000 50,000 DOE + OvertimeFull-Time | PermanentThe Opportunity An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lead Installation Engineer to join a well-established and growing business within the air conditioning and refrigeration sector.This is a hands-on role suited to someone confident in managing installations from survey through to completion, while leading and supporting junior engineers on-site.If youre looking for long-term stability, progression, and the chance to take ownership of projectsthis role is for you.Key Responsibilities Install and commission air conditioning systems across domestic and commercial sites Conduct site surveys and liaise directly with clients when needed Plan and manage installations from start to finish Order materials and manage project requirements Diagnose faults and resolve technical issues efficiently if required Lead, mentor, and support junior engineers Ensure all work is completed to high health & safety standards Maintain strong communication with clients and internal teams Work on refrigeration systems (desirable but not essential) Requirements Experience within air conditioning / refrigeration (8 years not essential) F-Gas certified & City & Guilds 2079 qualified Full UK driving licence Strong installation, fault-finding, and diagnostic experience Experience leading or supervising engineers on-site Confident in site surveys and project planning Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication and customer-facing skills Ability to work independently xjdpvnf and as part of a team Desirable: IPAF / PASMA Refrigeration experience Whats on Offer 45,000 50,000 salary (DOE) Overtime available Fully equipped company van Company credit card Uniform & PPE provided Pension scheme (enhanced employer contribution) 20 days holiday + bank holidays Ongoing training & development Clear progression opportunities Stable, long-term role within a growing business Supportive and friendly team environment
