This is a hands-on supervisory role working within a live utilities environment, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring delivery against programme. Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise mechanical and electrical installation activities on siteCoordinate subcontractors and daily site operationsDeliver toolbox talks and support RAMS implementationEnsure compliance with National Grid safety procedures and site rulesMonitor progress against programme and report to site managementMaintain high standards of quality, safety and documentationEssential RequirementsNG Person accreditation (required)Manual Handling certification (required)Previous experience supervising M&E works on infrastructure or utility projectsSSSTS or SMSTSCSCS / ECS Supervisor cardFull PPE ready for site mobilisationDesirableExperience working on substations or National Grid environmentsBESC / Substation entry awarenessFirst Aid at WorkThis role would suit an experienced M&E Supervisor who is already cleared for National Grid access and able to mobilise quickly.
