The successful candidate will oversee site mechanical teams and subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications.This isongoing temporary contract work, with the opportunity to move between projects as works progress across the regionKey ResponsibilitiesSupervisemechanical installation works on utilities and civil engineering projectsManage and coordinatemechanical fitters, labourers, and subcontractors on siteEnsure works are carried out in line withproject specifications and safety standardsConductsite inspections and quality checkson mechanical installationsWork closely withsite managers, project managers, and engineering teamsEnsure compliance withmethod statements, risk assessments, and permit systemsMonitor progress and assist with maintainingproject timelinesReviewtechnical drawings and mechanical installation plansCoordinatematerials, plant, and mechanical resources on siteRequirementsProven experience working as aMechanical Supervisor within utilities, infrastructure, or civil engineering projectsStrong knowledge ofmechanical installations associated with utility infrastructureExperience supervisingsite teams and subcontractorsStrong understanding ofconstruction health and safety proceduresAbility to work acrossmultiple project sitesEssential QualificationsEUSR Card (Essential)SSSTS or SMSTSCSCS CardRelevant Mechanical Qualification or NVQFull UK Driving LicenceProject & Location DetailsThe project willinitially start in Okehampton, with the role coveringmultiple infrastructure sites across the South Westas projects progress.This istemporary contract work tied to project delivery, offering ongoing opportunities acrossutilities and civil engineering projectsin the region.If you are an experiencedMechanical Supervisor with utilities or infrastructure experience, we encourage you to apply for thisongoing contract opportunity across major South West projects.TPBN1_UKTJ
