This is a 12-week temporary-to-permanent contract.We are seeking an experienced Fabricator Welder to join our client's team on a temporary to permanent, shop-based basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled welder with strong fabrication experience to work on a variety of general steelwork and vessel projects.Working hours are:7am 4.30pm , Monday to Thursday and Friday 7am 12pm. 30 mins unpaid lunch break.Overtime is paid after 42 hours at time and a half.Key Responsibilities:Carry out MIG welding on a range of fabrication projectsPerform butt and fillet welds to a high standardWork with both mild steel and stainless steel materialsInterpret and work from engineering drawingsFabricate and assemble general steelwork and vesselsEnsure all work meets quality and safety standardsMaintain a clean and safe workshop environmentRequirements:Proven experience as a fabrication welderPrevious coding in MIG butt and fillet weldingStrong background in general steelwork fabricationExperience working with vessels (highly desirable)Competent welding both mild steel and stainless steelAbility to read and interpret technical drawingsReliable, self-motivated, and quality-focusedBenefits:Competitive SalaryWeekly pay.Overtime available.20 Days + Statutory Bank HolidaysPension and Life Insurance schemesFull Company Uniform, PPETraining Opportunities and Career ProgressionCompetitive hourly rate (£18£20/hr DOE)Shop-based role (no site work required)Immediate start availableAbout HG Recruitment:Decades of experience in the supply chain, HG has a strong well-established reputation.
