Job Title: Panel Beater Location: Peacehaven Salary: 36,000 46,000 per annum (Depending on Experience & Qualifications) Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent The Opportunity An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled Vehicle Technician / Bodyshop Technician to join a well-established and forward-thinking accident repair centre. This is not a high-volume, push cars through environment the business prides itself on doing the job right the first time, with a strong focus on quality, customer service, and care for every vehicle. Youll be working on modern vehicles including manufacturer cars, LCVs, and an increasing number of Hybrid & EV vehicles, within a professional and well-equipped workshop. The Role Carrying out high-quality repairs in a busy bodyshop environment Working on a variety of modern vehicles including Hybrid & EV Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard first time Maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction and vehicle care Working as part of a collaborative and experienced team Whats On Offer Salary: 36,000 46,000 per annum (depending on experience & qualifications) No bonus scheme focus on quality over volume 30 days holiday (including bank holidays) Christmas shutdown typically around 10 days off using only 4 holiday days 38-hour working week Monday to Friday (No weekends) Flexible working hours: 07:45 16:30 08:30 17:15 Flexibility between 07:30 17:30 for the right person Company-funded quarterly team evenings out All PPE, training, and equipment provided Fully equipped workshop with ramps and modern machinery Major site investment planned over the next 12 months, offering long-term stability and growth About the Business Repairing approximately 15 vehicles per week Focus on quality workmanship over volume Strong pipeline of modern, manufacturer-level vehicles Secure future with a renewed 10-year lease and site refurbishment plans Salary Insight 42,000 = approx. 21.28 per hour (38-hour week) 50,000 equivalent = approx. 21.37 per hour (45-hour comparison) What Were Looking For Previous experience within a bodyshop or vehicle repair environment Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Experience with modern vehicles (Hybrid/EV beneficial) Relevant qualifications (preferred but not essential depending on experience) A team player with a positive attitude TPBN1_UKTJ
