Job Title: Senior Paediatric Clinical Fellow Start Date: September 2026 Contract Type: Fixed term – 12 months (Training Contract) Purpose The post is appointed on a fixed‑term basis to provide structured training and supervised clinical development. Whilst contributing to service delivery, the overarching aim is to deliver defined educational opportunities, supervised practice and experience aligned to the specialist training curriculum. ResponsibilitiesDiagnostic work‑up of new oncology/haematology referrals Day‑to‑day management of haematology/oncology patients Review of patients attending for chemotherapy Performing bone marrow aspirates/lumbar punctures Attendance of outpatient clinics Presentation of cases at weekly MDT meetings Prescription and administration of chemotherapy Development of a quality improvement projectQualifications Applicants should have some previous experience in paediatrics. Prior experience in paediatric oncology or haematology is not essential. There are no laboratory duties and no on‑call commitment.
