Accountant Cheshire 30,000 40,000 Full-time | Accountancy Practice We're working with a well-established and growing accountancy practice in Cheshire that is looking to add an Accountant to their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with practice experience who enjoys working with a varied portfolio of SME clients and is looking to continue developing their career within a supportive firm. You'll be joining a friendly, professional team where progression is genuinely encouraged, and where you'll gain exposure to a wide range of clients and responsibilities. The Role As an Accountant, you'll play a key role in supporting a portfolio of clients across different industries. The role offers a good mix of technical work and client interaction, making it ideal for someone who wants to build their experience and grow within practice. Key responsibilities: Preparation of year-end statutory accounts Corporation tax computations Preparation and submission of VAT returns Self-assessment tax returns Supporting clients with day-to-day accounting queries Liaising with clients and building strong working relationships Assisting senior staff and partners with ad-hoc assignments About You We're keen to speak with candidates who have experience working within an accountancy practice and are looking for the next step in their career.
