Duties Consult with clients to determine their desired hairstyles and provide expert advice on suitable cuts, colours, and treatments Perform hair cutting, colouring, styling, and specialised treatments with precision and creativity Maintain a clean, organised work station in accordance with health and safety standards Manage front desk responsibilities including appointment scheduling, client check-in, and payment processing Upsell retail products and additional services to maximise client satisfaction and salon revenue Mentor junior stylists and apprentices to foster a collaborative team environment Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and industry best practices Ensure excellent customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing their individual needs Experience Proven experience as a Hair Stylist within a busy salon environment Strong communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with clients of diverse backgrounds Knowledge of salon management principles is desirable but not essential Experience in barbering Demonstrated ability to upsell products tactfully while maintaining client trust Previous experience in front desk operations or customer service roles is beneficial Ability to mentor colleagues and contribute positively to team developmentThis role offers a rewarding opportunity for dedicated professionals eager to advance their career within the beauty industry.
