Sheet Metal Worker Location: Huddersfield Hours: 38.75 hours per week Monday Thursday: 7:00am 4:00pm Friday: 7:00am 11:45am Overtime: Paid after 38.75 hours at time and a half Salary: 30,517 41,820 (depending on experience) A UK engineering and manufacturing company is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join their fabrication team. Key Responsibilities Support daily fabrication operations within the production team Manufacture and finish components to company specifications and quality standards Read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings Work with steel and fabricated components in line with production requirements Prioritise workload in line with project plans and deadlines Ensure work is completed within cost and time targets Assist with maintenance of equipment when required Support quality assurance procedures and company standards Contribute to R&D and process improvement activities where required Candidate Requirements Essential: Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment Ability to read and work from technical engineering drawings Experience with welding and fabrication processes Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong planning and workload management skills Awareness of health and safety in a workshop environment Desirable: Experience with sheet metal fabrication Stainless steel fabrication experience Experience in FMCG industries (food, beverage, pharma, etc.) Background in a structured fabrication department ATA is committed to creating a diverse workforce and is an equal opportunities employer.
