HGV CLASS 2 DRIVER SPARKBROOK, WEST MIDLANDS People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver Days Sparkbrook, West Midlands to join our well-established client based in Sparkbrook, West Midlands. This role would suit candidates who have experience as a Class 2 Driver, LGV Driver, or Multi-Drop HGV Driver . Shifts Monday to Friday 06:00 starts Rates of Pay 14.50 per hour Benefits As a HGV Class 2 Driver, you will receive: Excellent hourly rates Ongoing, consistent work Weekly pay On-site canteen facilities Full training provided Immediate starts available Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties As a HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to): Curtainside deliveries (no handball involved) Operating and driving HGV Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensuring all loads are loaded and secured correctly Adhering to UK road traffic laws and transport regulations Communicating effectively with transport teams and customers Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance issues promptly Assisting with loading and unloading when required Completing a maximum of 5 drops per day Essential Skills To be successful in this role, you will need: Valid UK Category C (HGV Class 2) driving licence Minimum of 12 months' experience driving HGV Class 2 vehicles Valid UK Driver CPC card and Digital Tachograph card No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no major endorsements) Good level of spoken and written English Strong punctuality and time-keeping Good understanding of road safety and transport regulations Effective communication skills Desirable Experience Previous HGV Class 2 multi-drop delivery experience Experience driving other commercial vehicles Training Provided Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout the assignment Apply If you are ready to take on this opportunity as a HGV Class 2 Driver, please apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch.
