JOB DESCRIPTION At The Guinness Partnership, our Housing & Neighbourhood Teams play a crucial role in safeguarding our communities and supporting our social purpose: providing safe, high-quality homes and delivering essential housing services to our residents. We are currently recruiting for a Housing & Neighbourhood Officer on a full time, permanent basis to support our communities across the Gloucestershire area. As a Housing & Neighbourhood Officer, you will provide a friendly housing management service to residents. Reporting to Customer Liaison Manager, you will be part of a dedicated team of Housing & Neighbourhood Officers covering Stroud and the surrounding areas. You will be the face of Guinness, and your key responsibility is to provide an accessible service to both homeowners and rental residents. You will work in a mobile way, out in the area and meet residents. You will work closely with Estate Services and other Guinness teams to get things done quickly and efficiently to achieve positive outcomes for both Guinness and our residents. What we are looking for We believe that the way we work is as important as the results we achieve. You will bring your face-to-face customer service experience and housing knowledge to make a meaningful contribution to our organisational goals. This is a field-based position requiring travel within your designated area. Travel will be a key part of this role, so you will need a full UK driving licence and access to your own car. You will also be able to demonstrate: Excellent customer service delivery, demonstrating good communication and relationship-building skills. The ability to plan and work effectively without high levels of supervision. Ability to work on the go' using mobile technology. Strong resource and time management, and the ability to prioritise, delivering value for money. Experience of working in a climate of legislative and organisational change. Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills. Resilience and being able to deal with challenging situations and deliver sustainable outcomes.
