This position offers stable, long-term employment in a structured kitchen environment, more aligned to care home or school catering than a fast-paced restaurant.Working PatternRota-based across 7 days (including weekends)Typically 35 shifts per week12-hour shifts (e.g. 7am7pm)Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook meals tailored to residents dietary needsPlan menus and manage weekly food orderingMaintain kitchen records (temperature logs, cleaning schedules, etc.)Ensure compliance with COSHH, Environmental Health, and Health & SafetySupport all kitchen duties, including washing up when requiredMaintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environmentRequirementsPrevious experience as a Chef (care home, school, or contract catering preferred)Strong knowledge of food hygiene, COSHH, and H&S regulationsConfident managing kitchen compliance and paperworkHands-on, reliable, and flexible approachAble to work independently and as part of a teamWhats on OfferPermanent, full-time roleConsistent hours and structured working environmentNo late-night shiftsImmediate interviews availableJBRP1_UKTJ
