The Maintenance Fitter/Welder vacancy is working with a market leading listed manufacturing business, based in the Barrow upon Soar area. What's in it for your as a Maintenance Fitter/Welder: Hours of work - Monday - Thursday 8am-4pm and Friday 6am-4pm Salary - 45,000 per annum 33 days holiday Location - Barrow upon Soar OT paid at a premium Life Assurance schemes Double figure pension match upto 18% Employee Benefits Package Training and career development opportunities Main Duties & Responsibilities of Maintenance Fitter/Welder; Providing plant-wide maintenance service, departmental support and repairs ensuring that all production targets are maintained - maintaining factory manufacturing machinery Monitor & supply Engineering support of machine set-up & changeovers to ensure that the product conforms to any quality assurance standards and ensuring changeovers are as efficient as possible. Experience and Qualifications Required for Maintenance Fitter/Welder: Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship & Qualification or equivalent, e.g. NVQ, City and Guilds, ONC, BTEC or above - Mechanical or Welding Fabrication High degree of Health & Safety awareness. Ability to fault find, repair and provide solutions to problems. Would look at either Mechanical Fitter, Maintenance Fitter, Maintenance Engineer, Welder/Fabricator TPBN1_UKTJ
