The Role As a Product Finisher, you will play a critical role in ensuring moulded products are trimmed, finished, and prepared to precise specifications. Your work will directly impact the quality of products dispatched to customers. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will work collaboratively with colleagues to support the efficient running of production machinery while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping. Key Responsibilities Trimming and finishing moulded products to exact specifications Ensuring products meet quality standards prior to despatch Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment Working effectively as part of a production team Adhering strictly to all health and safety requirements Physical Requirements Must be physically fit, as the role operates in a hot working environment The role may include manoeuvring products weighing up to 100kg, using appropriate equipment and team support Skills & Experience Previous experience within a manufacturing environment is desirable Knowledge of safe working practices, including the use of hand tools Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively within a team Qualifications No formal qualifications required A good standard of English and maths is essential Personal Qualities Excellent attention to detail Strong time management and reliability Ability to consistently meet deadlines Professional, positive, and safety-conscious approach Effective interpersonal and communication skills Hours of Work Training Period:Monday to Friday, 9:30am 6:00pm Post-Probation (following successful completion): Monday to Thursday: 1:30pm 10:00pm Friday: 11:30am 8:00pm Employment Package & Benefits Rate of Pay - 13.11 per hour, paid monthly, reviewed annually in April Contracted to work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing with length of service: +1 day after 2 years service +1 day after 4 years service 1 day after 6 years service Up to a maximum of 28 days plus bank holidays Annual leave is adjusted for a full business closure at Christmas Pension contribution of 4% employee / 3% employer Death in Service benefit Salary sacrifice schemes available, subject to earnings.
