Taskmaster Resources are recruiting for an experienced MIG Welder/Fabricator on behalf of our client based in Doncaster (DN3) . This is a temp to perm opportunity , offering a permanent role after 12 weeks , with the benefit of a 4 day working week giving you a 3 day weekend every week. Hours: Monday to Thursday 06:30 17:00 Pay: 14.24ph The Role MIG welding (essential) Fabrication of chassis conversions (e.g. tipper beds) Building cage style vehicles Manufacturing trailers and vehicle equipment Working with mild steel in a workshop environment Reading and working from technical drawings General workshop duties and housekeeping What Were Looking For Proven welding and fabrication experience Ability to read technical drawings Experience using chop saws and workshop machinery Ability to set and adjust welding equipment Good attention to detail and quality of work Able to work independently and as part of a team Desirable: TIG or aluminium welding experience Benefits Weekly pay while temporary Permanent contract after 12 weeks 5.6 weeks holiday + opportunity to earn extra days (after probation) Pension scheme (after probation) Health cash plan (after probation) 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme (after probation) Free parking A weld test will be required as part of the interview process.
