Regional Support ManagerDo you have the right skills and experience for this role Read on to find out, and make your application.Children's Residential Services Salary: 60,000 + Quarterly Bonus Locations: North | Midlands | South (flexible base) Full-time | Regional travel requiredA national provider of children's residential services is recruiting three Regional Support Managers to support homes across the North, Midlands and South. This is a senior, handson leadership role focused on stabilising services, improving quality and ensuring positive outcomes for children and young people.The roleThe Regional Support Manager will provide practical, operational and strategic support to Registered Managers and staff teams across approximately six homes per region, intervening where additional leadership, capacity or expertise is required.You will work alongside regional operational leaders (Responsible Individuals) and senior management to ensure homes are compliant, stable and continuously improving. Travel requirements will vary depending on service needs, with homes typically located within one hour of each other in a region.Key responsibilitiesProvide parachute and interim leadership support to residential homes when neededCoach, mentor and develop Registered Managers and teamsConduct audits, identify risks early and implement improvement plansSupport services to meet safeguarding, regulatory and Ofsted requirementsPromote safe, nurturing and therapeutic environmentsSupport home registration in exceptional circumstances (not a core requirement)About youEssential:Relevant qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management - Health & Social Care or equivalent)Significant leadership experience within children's residential careStrong knowledge of xjdpvnf safeguarding regulations, Ofsted standards and legislationProven ability to stabilise, support and improve residential servicesFull UK driving licence and flexibility to travel regionallyDesirable:Experience working in traumainformed or therapeutic care environmentsWhat's on offer60,000 salary plus quarterly bonusFlexible regional placement (North, Midlands or South)Opportunity to influence and improve multiple servicesSupportive senior leadership and development opportunitiesAll appointments are subject to enhanced DBS checks and satisfactory references
