About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Setter / Operator to join our one of our clients manufacturing teams. This role involves setting, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery to produce high-quality components in line with technical drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Make sure to read the full description below, and please apply immediately if you are confident you meet all the requirements.Key Responsibilities Set and operate CNC machines (milling, turning, or both)Interpret engineering drawings and job specificationsSelect appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materialsPerform machine setup adjustments to ensure accuracy and efficiencyMonitor machine performance and make necessary correctionsConduct quality checks using measuring equipment (e.g., micrometers, calipers)Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety regulationsCarry out routine maintenance and report any faults or issuesWork to production targets and deadlinesRequirements Proven experience as a CNC Setter / OperatorAbility to read and interpret technical/engineering drawingsExperience with Fanuc, Haas, Siemens, or similar control systems (preferred)Strong understanding of machining processes and toolingGood problem-solving xjdpvnf skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFlexible approach to work and willingness to work shifts if requiredDesirable Skills CNC programming experience (advantageous but not essential)Experience in a precision engineering or manufacturing environmentKnowledge of quality standards and inspection proceduresWorking Monday to Friday 42.5 hours per week with opportunities for overtime
