At Yunex Traffic, our Poole manufacturing facility produces high-reliability electronic assemblies used across national infrastructure. Were proud to be an award-winning leader in cutting-edge PCBA manufacturing and were growing. Were now looking for a skilled Electronics Production Technician to join our Surface Mount Technology PCBA production team. If youre passionate about electronics, precision, and solving technical challenges, youll fit right in. Responsibilities: Carry out high-quality optical inspection of PCBAs using the latest inspection technologies Perform first-line fault finding and rework to maintain high production yields Develop and refine Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) programs Maintain manufacturing traceability and quality records Support continuous improvement through structured root-cause analysis Perform routine first-line maintenance on production equipment Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues Maintain strong safety, organisation, and housekeeping standards in your production cell Qualifications & Experience: Strong communication skills, working with a fast-moving and collaborative team A practical problem-solver with a proactive approach to maintaining output and quality Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high manufacturing standards Ability to prioritise effectively across a high-mix production schedule Required: Experience in medium/high-volume PCBA manufacturing IPC-A-610 certified [Class II] (or significant practical experience) Strong IT literacy (Windows OS / basic systems) Desirable: IPC 7711/7721 rework/modification Experience with AOI HNC/NVQ Level 3 in Electronics or similar Awareness of modern PCBA manufacturing technologies What to Expect from the Interview Process We aim to make our interview process clear, practical, and friendly: Session 1 : A short conversation with our team to tell you a bit about Yunex and for us to find out all about your previous experience.
