Tradebe is looking for a Class 2 Driver (Monday-Friday) to join the team at our Swindon site. You will be responsible for the collection of clinical waste from customer sites such as acute hospitals and transfer stations.Read on to fully understand what this job requires in terms of skills and experience If you are a good match, make an application.Shift DetailsStart Time: 2amShift Length: 10 hoursPattern: Monday - Friday DaysMain Responsibilities:Safely collect and transport customers' waste in a professional manner, following all Road Laws, the Highway Code and ADR regulations.Load and unload waste containers safely, always ensuring correct segregation and secure loads.Complete all required paperwork and PDA entries accurately and submit them at the end of the shift.Carry out pre- and post-shift vehicle checks, reporting any defects, issues, delays or non-conformities to the line manager.Maintain a clean, tidy and fuelled vehicle.Adhere to all site rules and wear the required PPE and correct uniform at all times.Communicate professionally with customers and work effectively as part of the team.Do you have what it takes?Other Essential Skills:Communication skills.Good Customer relations.C+E or C Licence.Driver qualification card (CPC).Understanding of EU Driver & Working time Laws.Desirable Skills:ADR qualifiedExperience in handling Waste (Clinical & Hazardous desirable).Use of hand held devices i.e. PDA.Knowledge:Good knowledge Road Traffic Laws.Good knowledge of the waste industry (Clinical & Hazardous waste desirable). xjdpvnf We expect from you to Be accountable, Drive results, Embrace Change , and high levels of Collaboration !What's in for you?Competitive salary 36,814.40 + Quarterly BonusOccasional overtime paid at x1.5 (dependant on business need)6% Contributory PensionFlexible benefits (access to our benefits platform for discounts and cash back on shopping purchases, gyms and leisure activities, cycle to work scheme and dedicated wellbeing centre)Ready to make a difference?
