Job Title: Quality Coordinator Location: Crewkerne, Somerset Salary: 30,000 per annum Full-Time | Perm - 40 hours per week My client in Crewkerne is looking for a Quality Coordintor to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a passion for Quality. The Role: Reporting to the Head of Quality, the Quality Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the effective operation and administration of the Quality Management System (QMS). This is a highly administrative and coordination-focused role, with responsibility for maintaining quality records, processes and data, while working closely with internal teams to ensure compliance and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Quality Management System (QMS) Maintain and control QMS documentation in line with ISO 9001:2015 standards Ensure records are accurate, up to date and correctly filed Internal Audits Support the planning and coordination of internal audits Assist with audit delivery and ensure compliance with QMS requirements Goods Inwards Quality Manage administrative aspects of goods-in quality processes Review Certificates of Conformance (CoC), documentation and traceability records Support inspection activities where required Calibration System Administration Coordinate calibration schedules and maintain accurate equipment records Ensure all measurement and test equipment is compliant and audit-ready Monitor calibration status and escalate any risks or overdue items Customer Returns & Non-Conformances Provide administrative support for returns and non-conformance processes Track issues, actions and outcomes accurately ISIRs & Part Qualification Support documentation and coordination of ISIR and part qualification activities Maintain accurate records and approvals Quality Metrics & Continuous Improvement Collate and report on KPIs and quality metrics Maintain quality data, reports and action logs Support continuous improvement initiatives Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Essential: Strong administrative and organisational skills High attention to detail and accuracy Confident IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain structured records Comfortable working within defined processes and supporting senior quality staff Desirable: Experience working within a Quality Management System Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards Background in a manufacturing or engineering environment Exposure to audits, calibration systems or quality reporting Development & Progression: This role offers structured development under the guidance of the Head of Quality, with increasing responsibility as training and competency grow.
