We currently support 65 clients with a range of needs. Our clients include individuals who are homeless, some with mental health issues, those in recovery from substance misuse, and young people.A little more about your day as a Housing & Support Deputy Manager: Supporting the manager and acting up in their absenceStaff supervision and developmentWorking with the manager to create new opportunities and plan implementationDaily operational planningWorking with a small number of clientsFamily mediation and support, bringing families back togetherWorking with a community of professionals to support the right outcomesProblem solving together and debriefs, sharing experiences and learning as a team through reflective practiceSupporting the team with repair issues and repayment agreements for rent arrearsProperty and health and safety checksIt is an exciting time for our Elmbridge Team asyoullalso be involved in planning and running our extra-curricular workshops. These rangefrom sports activities such as basketball, table tennis and boxing,to relaxation sessions. We are always open tonew ideasand projects, so if you have a particular talent or skill, please let us know.WhatYoullNeedTo be successful in this role, you will need: Ability to develop non-judgmental professional relationships with clientsThe ability to manage your own time, delivering outcomes and meeting deadlinesAn Enhanced DBS check (to be completed by us upon successful application)A full, valid driving licence and use of your own car for business purposesExperience in homelessness and homeless housing pathwaysKnowledge of support services, including legislation on safeguarding, dataprotectionand benefitsExperience supporting or managing staffTick most of the boxes but not all?
