In this role, you'll play a key part in keeping our production lines running safely and efficiently, supporting shift leadership, and helping colleagues around you to grow and succeed.If you enjoy solving problems, take pride in high-quality output, and want to be part of a business committed to sustainability, innovation and people development, this could be a great next step.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate, monitor and optimise production lines to achieve daily production targetsSupport line changeovers, setups, and line adjustmentsLead by example in promoting a strong health 'safety cultureCarry out basic line performance, troubleshooting and escalation of technical issuesConduct quality checks, ensuring all products meet DS Smith standardsProvide training, guidance and support to Operators and new team membersMaintain accurate production records and support continuous improvement initiativesWork collaboratively with engineering, quality and shift management teamsAbout youWe're looking for someone who brings a combination of experience, reliability and a positive, solutions-focused mindset.Previous experience operating production or manufacturing lines (preferably within packaging, print or FMCG)Strong understanding of health 'safety practicesGood mechanical aptitude and problem-solving capabilityAbility to lead, coach and support othersGood IT skillsHigh attention to detail and commitment to qualityConfidence working in a fast-paced, team-based environmentLocation: Masters Logistical Services Ltd, Freight & Cargo Service in Ely, 19 Ely Rd, Ely CB6 3JJWorking hours: 40 hours - Monday to Friday - 06:00am - 14:00pm(Please note that the organisation intends to transition to an early and late shift pattern in the near future.
