We are looking for a Cluster Psychologist to drive psychological excellence across three distinct sites: HMP Lancaster Farms (Cat C), HMP Preston (Cat B), and HMP Kirkham (Cat D). This is a rare opportunity to influence service development, manage data performance, and provide clinical leadership across a diverse regional cluster. The Role: Clinical Strategy & Oversight As a Cluster Psychologist, you will be the psychological lead for the region, responsible for: Strategic Leadership: Advising Heads of Healthcare on service objectives and implementing trauma-informed policy changes. Specialist Clinical Work: Undertaking complex psychological assessments and delivering evidence-based interventions for patients with severe mental health needs. Mentorship & Training: Supervising doctoral-level trainees and providing clinical oversight to multi-disciplinary healthcare and prison staff. Service Evaluation: Managing data and performance reporting to ensure the highest standards of clinical governance. What Youll Bring Qualified & Registered: HCPC Registered Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical, Counselling, or Forensic). Therapeutic Expertise: Training in specific modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, CAT, Schema, or Systemic therapy). Experience: Proven track record with forensic populations and a deep understanding of clinical governance.
