We are recruiting on behalf of a food manufacturer based on the boarders of Southall & Hayes. The role is long term and possibly temp to perm for the right candidate. The shift is 20:00-08:00, you will work a rotated shift pattern, usually this will consist of 4 shifts per week, the operation runs 7 days a week so flexibility is essential. The role : As a Production Supervisor in one of our manufacturing or packing areas you will be directly responsible for and will deliver day to day performance. You will be responsible for safety, quality & output within your line. What youll be responsible for Coordinating a team of permanent and temporary operators (up to 11 employees) to achieve line targets Complying with safety standards, ensuring the environment is safe for work at all times, while contributing to the continuous improvement in site Safety culture Complying with quality and hygiene standards, championing the ownership of the quality culture and contributing to the site wide Quality culture agenda Identifying potential talent or skills gaps in the team around you to ensure the whole team is performing as required to achieve line targets What were looking for in you Previous experience in FMCG or manufacturing environment Experience in coordinating a team is essential Strong and effective communication skills within the team and towards support teams within the site Fluent verbal and written English skills TPBN1_UKTJ
