Job Summary A fantastic new opportunity has arisen to join one of the largest expert nursing teams in the UK to deliver first class specialist Urology Care. Whether you are a Urology / Continence Care Nurse Specialist or a Nurse / District Nurse with a desire to learn a specialised skill, we are looking for someone who will be passionate in supporting a recognised care pathway of urology patients from the Acute Services into the community.Location South East, EnglandCovering the South East, including Canterbury, Folkestone & EastbourneDepartment ClinicalContract Permanent, working 37.5 hours, Monday to FridayResponsibilitiesDevelop and deliver Urology TWOC & ISC Procedures to patients in Community Clinics & Acute Trust TWOC ClinicsProvide safe, effective and specialist nursing care, information and advice to patients and their relatives on all aspects of catheter care (including self-catheterisation)Undertake Trial Without Catheter Procedures within a Community & Acute Hospital based ClinicManage community referrals from the Acute Trust to undertake ISC & TWOC procedures in the patients homeAssess, treat and review adults with continence / urology needs and/or bladder and catheter complications and advise accordinglyTeach and support other nursing and non‑nursing staff and carers as requiredFoster good communication links and co‑operation between GPs, Community Nurses, Ward Managers, and other disciplines / departmentsEnsure timely and accurate entry of data into appropriate patient record keeping systems that meet the requirements of data protection and ensure that company liability is within current regulationSupport the introduction of new products and provide opportunities for end users to reviewParticipate in discussion and the operation of research programmes affecting patients and the serviceWork with Company Nurse Manager to set annual clinical objectives and track regularly to ensure timely completionPerson SpecificationProven experience within Urology / Continence CareRecognised Urology / Continence Care Qualification (desirable)Community / district nurse experience (desirable)Car driver (essential - home visits will be required)Knowledge and the ability to demonstrate a research‑based holistic approach to patient careEvidence of recent post registration training and developmentWhat We OfferThe anticipated base salary range for this position is £42,000 - £52,000, depending on experience or other legitimate business factorsCompany CarGroup Personal Pension Scheme with 8.5% employer contributionLife Insurance Cover at x10 base salaryGroup Income Protection Scheme28 days annual leave + Bank Holidays (pro‑rated for part time Associates), with the option to buy/sell annual leaveComprehensive Employee Assistance ProgrammeEnhanced Family Friendly policiesEqual Opportunity Employer Statement All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.#J-18808-Ljbffr
