Our client operates within the steel industry and also supplies a wide range of related products including fencing, flooring, and general components. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional to join a well-established and growing business.As an Internal Sales Executive, you will play a key part in managing customer enquiries, generating sales, and supporting trade counter operations. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in internal sales, customer service, or trade counter work within an industrial or construction-related environment.As an Internal Sales Executive, your responsibilities will include:Handling inbound sales enquiries by telephone and emailBuilding strong relationships with existing and new business customersPreparing quotes, processing orders, and managing customer accountsUpselling additional products including steel, fencing, flooring, fixings and associated materialsSupporting customers face-to-face on the trade counterWorking closely with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and deliveryMaintaining accurate sales records and updating CRM systemsProviding excellent product knowledge (full training provided)Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction at all timesRequirementsMinimum 1 year of internal sales experience - essentialStrong communication and customer service skillsConfident telephone manner and ability to manage multiple enquiriesExperience in steel, construction products, or industrial materials (advantageous but not essential)Good attention to detail and accuracyIT literate and comfortable using email, order systems and CRM softwareReliable, professional and able to work as part of a teamPositive attitude and willingness to learn and developPay & Shifts28,000 - 30,000 per year (depending on experience)Monday to Friday08:30 - 17:00How to ApplyTo apply, please send your up-to-date CV to this advert or call the office and speak to one of our recruitment consultants today!
