Senior Plumbing & Gas Site SupervisorLocation:Whickham / Regional Sites (UK)Find out exactly what skills, experience, and qualifications you will need to succeed in this role before applying below.Hours:8:30am 5:00pm (Monday to Friday) + overtime as requiredSalary:45,000 55,000 (DOE) + overtime (time & a half) + bonusesJob Type:Full-time, PermanentAbout the CompanyOur client is a growing, quality-driven plumbing and gas engineering business delivering high-standard solutions across both commercial and residential projects.With a strong reputation for workmanship, reliability, and client satisfaction, the business is continuing to expand creating an opportunity for an experienced Senior Plumbing & Gas Site Supervisor to play a key role in shaping site delivery and supporting the next phase of growth.The RoleThis is not a desk-based position. Youll be a hands-on leader, working across multiple sites, supporting engineers, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.Youll work closely with senior leadership, taking responsibility for coordinating projects, mentoring engineers, and contributing to the commercial and technical success of the business.Key ResponsibilitiesPlanning, coordinating and overseeing multiple live site operationsLeading, mentoring and supporting engineers, apprentices and new startersReading and interpreting technical drawings and specificationsProviding on-site technical guidance, particularly around pipework, plant systems and heating installationsLiaising with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and other tradesSupporting project delivery from initial scope through to completionAssisting with pricing, quoting and job specificationEnsuring all work meets quality, safety and Gas Safe compliance standardsTroubleshooting and stepping in hands-on where requiredSupporting scheduling, resource planning and overall project organisationSupporting commercial planning and resource allocationAbout YouYoull be an experienced Plumbing & Gas professional who is confident leading teams, managing sites, and communicating with clients while still being technically strong and hands-on when needed.Proven experience in a supervisory, lead engineer or site management roleStrong background in plumbing and gas engineering (domestic and/or commercial)Excellent understanding of plant rooms, heating systems and pipework layoutsAbility to read and interpret technical drawingsExperience managing multiple engineers and coordinating workloadsConfident communicator with strong leadership and mentoring abilityCommercial awareness, with some exposure to pricing or quoting advantageous xjdpvnf Full UK Driving LicenceConfident hands-on engineer able to step in on site when requiredQualifications (typical / desirable):Gas Safe registered (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1)NVQ / City & Guilds in Plumbing & HeatingCSCS / CITB cardCommercial gas qualifications (advantageous but not essential)Whats in it for you?Overtime opportunities / additional earning potentialCompany vehicle or allowancePension and holiday packageOngoing training and development support (including commercial upskilling)Clear progression pathway into senior managementOpportunity to play a key role in a growing, ambitious businessApply TodayIf youre looking to join a supportive, forward-thinking company where your skills are recognised and valued, wed love to hear from you.
