Fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking business during an exciting period of sustained business growthResponsibilities:As Maintenance Engineer, you will perform the day to day mechanical and electrical maintenance of plant equipment to include injection moulding machinery and associated ancillary equipment, ensuring continuity of production, consistent with the companys goals and needs. In the role of Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for the fault finding and repair electrical/mechanical faults that occur on plant machinery and equipmentAssist with the maintenance programme for all plant and/or equipment (hydraulics, robots, ancillary machines automatic assembly).Validate new plant equipment, automation and upgrades.Process/equipment troubleshooting and failure analysisEnsure all items of plant and/or equipment is in good safe working orderStrive to improve the efficiency and safety of plant and equipment.Maintain a high standard of record keeping for all repairs and servicing of plant and/or equipment as required for audit, traceability and warranty purposes, in accordance with the Quality Management System.Requirements:Demonstrable maintenance experience within injection moulding or other plastics manufacturing disciplinesMinimum 3 years hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical engineering / maintenanceA good working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and electronic/electrical automation controls.
