Location: YeovilFind out more about this role by reading the information below, then apply to be considered.Salary:TBCContract: Full Time, PermanentHours:Monday Friday 8am 5pmSummary of ObjectivesThis role is responsible for processing components through treatment lines, ensuring all work meets strict aerospace and defence specifications, while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.Responsibilities:Process components through surface treatment lines (including plating and anodising) Carry out jigging and preparation of components prior to treatment Perform operator inspections to ensure quality standards are met Work in accordance with technical specifications, drawings, and work instructions Maintain treatment tanks, including chemical additions and stock checks Monitor process parameters to ensure consistency and compliance Identify and report defects or non-conformances Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH, and environmental regulations Support continuous improvement initiatives within the department Accurately complete production and process documentationCore Skills & CompetenciesExperience in surface treatments (plating, anodising, or similar) Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to follow technical specifications and defined processes Methodical and well-organised approach Ability to work independently and within a team Adaptable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment xjdpvnf Qualifications & ExperienceEssential:Relevant experience in plating or surface treatments within manufacturing Desirable:Experience within aerospace or defence environments Knowledge or experience in Electroless Nickel Plating (ENP)Personal QualitiesReliable and responsible Strong work ethic Flexible and adaptable Team-oriented Proactive with the ability to use initiative Committed to safety and quality standards
