This is a newly created position driven by business growth the firm currently outsources a significant volume of paraplanning reports and needs dedicated in-house resource to manage that workload. With five financial advisers generating consistent client activity, a pipeline of practice acquisitions, and a director who actively invests in the team's professional development, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced paraplanner who is ready to hit the ground running and grow with an ambitious firm.THE ROLEYou will work directly with a team of five advisers, taking ownership of the paraplanning process end-to-end. Your core responsibilities will include:Preparing detailed suitability letters and reports for pension transfers, investments, trusts, and bondsCollaborating with financial advisers to gather and analyse client data income, assets, liabilities, insurance, and investment holdingsCreating retirement projections, cash flow models, and fund analyses using planning tools such as VoyantConducting product and fund research to support investment and pension recommendationsDeveloping financial plans aligned to the client's risk profile and long-term objectivesEnsuring all recommendations comply with FCA regulatory standards and internal compliance requirementsMaintaining accurate and up-to-date client records within the CRM and planning systems (currently Xplan, transitioning to 360/Lifecycle)Providing general support to advisers where required, including pre- and post-meeting preparationWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORThis is not an entry-level position. The firm needs someone who can step in, understand the advice journey confidently, and produce high-quality, compliant reports without significant hand-holding.
