If you're driven by strategic planning, sustainability, compliance, and creating spaces that enable teams to thrive, this is a brilliant opportunity to lead change in a growing and forward-thinking organisation.About the RoleAs our Property and Infrastructure Lead, you'll oversee the strategic and operational management of our entire property portfolio - over one million square feet across the UK. You will define the long-term property strategy, ensure compliance across the estate, and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.This is a senior role working closely with Commercial, Infrastructure, Finance, Operations, Aviva Group Property, and local authorities to ensure our sites remain safe, compliant, future-focused, and aligned with our sustainability ambitions.ResponsibilitiesCreating and delivering the long-term property strategy for SolusManaging a portfolio of 50+ properties, mainly industrial sitesOverseeing asset management, leasing, business rates, utilities, and property legal mattersEnsuring full statutory and regulatory compliance across the estateBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with landlords, councils, suppliers, and Aviva Group functionsInfluencing investment decisions and shaping the future infrastructure of the businessLeading and developing team members, while supporting capability growth across the wider departmentMitigating financial, legal, and operational risks through strong governance and planningQualificationsProfessional expertise in asset management and capital programmesStrong knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements, including energy efficiency standardsExperience leading change and guiding teams through transformationUnderstanding of sustainability, lifecycle planning, and long-term portfolio managementExcellent stakeholder management skillsStrategic thinking and the ability to plan 1-10 years aheadDegree-level education (or equivalent)MRICS qualification with post-qualification experienceA management qualification (or evidence of significant leadership development)Property legal knowledge is desirable but not essentialSolus, who are owned by Aviva, are one of the UK leaders in vehicle repairs, returning cars to the road in just 11 days on average and a 4.6/5 star customer rating.
