We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Designer to lead thier design office in delivering high-quality engineering and architectural projects. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of design development, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure projects meet client specifications, deadlines, and regulatory standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence project outcomes through strategic planning and creative problem-solving.Scroll down the page to see all associated job requirements, and any responsibilities successful candidates can expect.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the design process from concept through to completion, ensuring alignment with project objectives and client requirements.Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration.Oversee the utilisation of design software such Autodesk to develop accurate schedules and detailed technical drawings.Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations. in co-ordination with Main contractorsManage project timelines effectively through excellent time management skills, prioritising tasks to meet strict deadlines.Review and approve design documentation, drawings, and specifications before submission.Identify potential design issues early in the process and implement effective solutions to mitigate risks.Mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages professional development.RequirementsProven experience in a Design Management role within Facade and roofing designProficiency in CAD and experience with BIM technologyStrong organisational skills with exceptional time management capabilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clients.Demonstrated leadership ability to guide teams through complex projects while maintaining high standards of quality.Ability to adapt to evolving project demands with flexibility and proactive problem-solving skillsIndwinOur clients and their customers come from diverse backgrounds and so do we.
