Apprenticeship Service Coordinator (Fire & Security)Location: EdinburghAre you ready to apply Make sure you understand all the responsibilities and tasks associated with this role before proceeding.Reporting to: Service ManagerStaff Grade: ST6Company:Dalkia Fire & SecurityAbout the RoleDalkia is offering an exciting opportunity for an Apprenticeship Service Co-ordinator to join our Fire & Security division.This apprenticeship provides structured training, hands-on experience, and mentoring to develop the skills and knowledge required to progress into a fully competent Service Co-ordinator. You will support the coordination of reactive, planned, and service installation works between clients and engineering teams, helping us maintain high service standards and strong customer relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with incoming service calls and log jobs accurately on internal systemsSupport prioritisation of reactive and planned maintenance worksHelp allocate jobs to Field/Service Technicians and approved subcontractorsAssist in coordinating engineer revisits and maintenance schedulesUpdate internal systems and client portals accuratelySupport the creation and issuing of job packsArrange reactive and planned maintenance appointmentsMaintain professional communication with clients, engineers, and internal teamsAssist with performance reporting, KPI monitoring, and escalation processesSupport Service and Operations Managers with administrative tasksTraining & DevelopmentFull training on systems, processes, and service coordinationOngoing mentoring from experienced Service Co-ordinators and ManagersOpportunity to progress into a Service Co-ordinator role upon successful completionWhat Were Looking ForAdministration experienceStrong IT and computer literacy skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsOrganised, reliable, and adaptable approach to workAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentGood attention to detail and time managementSelf-motivated with a willingness to learnHealth & SafetyAll employees must take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves and others and follow company policies and procedures. xjdpvnf At Dalkia, we are committed to maintaining our industry-leading reputation and delivering exceptional customer service.
